8% to 49.8% (geometric mean). UF + QIAamp Viral RNA Mini Kit provided the second highest φ6 recovery of 6.4% to 35.8%. The comparable φ6 recovery was observed for UF + TRIzol (13.8-30.0%). PEG + QIAamp Viral RNA Mini Kit provided only 1.4% to 3.0% of φ6 recovery, while coliphage MS2, a surrogate for nonenveloped viruses, was recovered comparably with PEG + TRIzol. This meta-analysis synthesizes all studies conducted under FACE conditions on rice yield response to elevated atmospheric CO2 concentration ([CO2]) and its interaction with cultivar, nitrogen application rate and temperature. On average, elevated [CO2] enhanced rice yield by 16.2%, which resulted from positive response of each yield component. The yield enhancement by elevated [CO2] of hybrid rice (24.7%) was significantly greater than conventional rice (14.2%), and among conventional rice cultivars, indica rice had a larger yield response (20.4%) than japonica rice (12.7%). The superior performance of hybrid and indica rice under FACE conditions was mainly attributed to the larger increase in spikelet density. The response of rice yield to elevated [CO2] varied with nitrogen supply. The maximum increase of 21.1% occurred at the nitrogen application rate of 21-30 g m-2. Both insufficient and excess nitrogen supply negate yield increase by FACE but through different approaches. Elevated [CO2] increased rice yield by 16.7% at ambient temperature but only 10.1% at elevated temperature (1-2 °C); The smaller yield increase at elevated temperature was due to the negative response of filled grain percentage and grain mass. In conclusion, atmospheric CO2 concentration projected in the middle of this century will enhance rice yield mainly through the increase of spikelet density, whereas the magnitude of CO2 fertilizer effect will be affected by the cultivar, nitrogen application rate and temperature.In environmental health, vulnerability reflecting the cumulative harmful constraints and nuisances to which populations are subjected and resilience defined as the capacity of a territory to cope with health inequalities have been little extensively investigated together with the same importance. Besides the diversity of factors involved, there is no consensual framework to develop composite indices, one recognized methodology to deal with a multifaceted issue. Therefore, this research aims to establish a new transferable approach to assess the spatial heterogeneity of territorial inequalities. This new strategy relies on the simultaneous evaluation of resilience and vulnerability and the joint analysis based on the cross-interpretation of the spatialized composite indices of resilience and vulnerability. A case study was conducted to demonstrate the feasibility of this methodology, using the municipality as a spatial unit of analysis within a region in the north of France. To provide the most holistic description possible of the 3817 studied municipalities, 50 variables related to the economic, environment, policy, health, services and social dimensions were used to develop the composite indices. The vulnerability Index has a median value of 0.151 with an IQR of [0.126-0.180] and the Resilience Index has a median value of 0.341 with an IQR of [0.273-0.401]. The joint analysis was conducted to classify each municipality among four defined typologies 1687 municipalities (44.2%) belong to the "To monitor" category, 1646 (43.1%) to the "Resilient" category, 329 (8.6%) to the "Have resources" category and 155 (4.1%) to the "Territorial blackspot" category. The methodology herein may be a diagnostic tool to identify and prioritize municipalities that could benefit from the implementation of specifically tailored public health policies.Although the occurrence and distribution of antibiotics in aquatic environments and reared organisms have been widely reported, the spatiotemporal variations and sources of antibiotics throughout the rearing period of aquaculture remain unclear. In this study, the concentrations and spatiotemporal variations of antibiotics in water sources, pond water, sediment, feed, and reared shrimp samples during three rearing periods in an ecological shrimp farm in Southern China were investigated. The water, sediment, and feed samples were found to contain twelve, nine, and four types of antibiotics, respectively, and the concentration of erythromycin-H2O was the highest among these antibiotics. No target antibiotics were detected in the reared shrimp samples from this typical shrimp farm, which employed ecological rearing with no antibiotic use throughout the rearing processes. The total concentrations of antibiotics in water source were 1.96-40.58 times higher than those in pond water. A significant decrease in the total antibiotic concentrations of the pond water was observed, while a significant increase was observed in sediment during each rearing period (p less then 0.05), suggesting that antibiotics transferred from the water phase to the sediment phase in the farm. Redundancy analysis demonstrated that the chemical oxygen demand was negatively correlated with the concentration of the target antibiotics in the water samples during three rearing periods (p less then 0.05). The results of calculations conducted using the concentrations of antibiotics in the water source, pond water, sediment, and feed samples detected in this study indicated that the water source was likely to be the main source of antibiotics in the rearing ponds. This study can provide a better understanding of the spatiotemporal variations and sources of antibiotics in aquaculture.
